Erano settimane che Kaytranada pubblicava tracce inedite su Soundcloud, si percepiva nell’aria che qualcosa stava per accadere. Ed ora eccolo qui, alle porte del weekend, l’annuncio che in moltissimi stavano aspettando: spoilerato ieri sera dalle parti di Benji B durante il “Montreal Special” andato in onda sulla BBC, il producer e dj canadese ha finalmente ufficializzato l’uscita a Maggio del suo nuovo album!
“99.9%” uscirà ufficialmente su XL Recordings il prossimo 6 Maggio e conterrà featuring davvero eccellenti come Syd dei The Internet, Anderson .Paak, AlunaGeorge, Little Dragon, BADBADNOTGOOD, Vic Mensa, GoldLink e molti, molti altri. Non contenti, XL e Kaytranada hanno nelle scorse ore annunciato un tour legato a “99.9%” (di cui sotto trovare la schedule disponibile al momento - comprese le date estive al Parklife e al Sonar) ed hanno condiviso il primo estratto dall’album, “Bus Ride”, premierato ieri su BBC Radio 1 e che vede protagonisti anche Karriem Riggins e River Tiber.
